This web site has been set up to enable Twemlow’s and related families interested in genealogical research of the Twemlow’s to contact each other and display items of interest.

I am David J Twemlow. For a number of years I have been involved in researching my own family history. More recently I have extended that to a “one name study”, a study of anyone with the name Twemlow. My intention is to collect as much data as possible on births, marriages, deaths, census information, individual and general family history and ultimately publish this in a format which can be used by future researchers.

I have used much of the data collected to date to draw up and extend the family trees already documented and researched by Francis Craddock Twemlow and recorded by his son Francis Randle Twemlow in his book, “The Twemlow’s their Wives and Homes”. I have also drawn up trees of other Twemlow’s who as yet remain as isolated groups.
